Re: Debian 13 - UPDATE
Yes. Seems to have done the trick. Although the SPAD window is now disabled, but will try to troubleshoot that as I can. Thank you, Tim. As always *** UPDATE Well, I logged out of my session and back in again and the SPAD issue seems resolved. Not sure if it was a file edit I did earlier, or the pyt...

Debian 13
Hi Tim Lost my OS drive and reinstalled to Debian 13. I installed BA 5.6.5, and it does not start. Running from CLI shows: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/bibleanalyzer/ba-run.py", line 10, in <module> import analyzer5 File "/opt/bibleanalyzer/ba-565.zip/analyzer5.py&quo...

Re: Flyouts
Hi Brief Not entirely sure what you mean by "flyout" but assuming you are referencing the pop-ups that are displayed when you place the mouse cursor over something (in Bible panel, reference panel or results panel). These really have no function of their own except to display some addition...

Re: Dynamic Bible explorer Not shown up
So, up until now I have been limiting my testing to the word matching and semantic searching features, which have, so far worked as expected. When drilling a bit deeper in, such as following verses (right and left clicking) I am getting errors and warnings. I will post some screen caps and submit so...

Re: Dynamic Bible explorer Not shown up
Hi Tim
Just upgraded to V5.6.5 on Debian. I have been trying out the Bible Explorer and it seems to be something I would find very helpful in my studies. as been working fine. A real blessing, Tim. Thank you.

Hi Tim
Using same version under Linux, no help display. Do not receive any error.
Any ideas?

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.6 beta (Linux)
from what you describe, it looks like either a compatibility issue. You are using some proprietary hardware most likely with the touch screen and on screen keyboard, as well as drivers. WebKit could enter into the mix as well. It does not appear to be a BA issue, as the above discussed issues were n...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.6 beta (Linux)
Although I did not look too deeply into the matter when I was having the above issue, it seems to be more related to the WEBKIT having issues than anything else. I did not try under Wayland, but all the articles I looked at seems to connect to NVIDIA GPUs. I have just migrated over to Debian 12 from...
