Christ's terms for Himself
Is there a place or reference work where I can find a list of all of our Lord's own terms for Himself? That is, - Son of Man - Son of God - Son of David - Son - Lord - Master - Teacher - Shepherd, Good shepherd - Light - Door - etc. Plus I'd like a list of the specific locations each term appears, s...

AVp, Luke 24:7 not in red letters
In the AVp module (Authorized Version, People and Places edition), at Luke 24:7, the words of Jesus are not marked in red letters. Don't you think they should be? Full context: 5, And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the ...

Re: Dates in the reference panel
Just curious, do you own a copy of The Handbook of Biblical Chronology (rev ed, 1998) by Jack Finegan? I have, and it's quite extensive. It's not arranged by chapter-and-event, as you might like, but it's immensely documented and academically thorough. He discusses the pros and cons of each position...

Re: Bible Module Suggestion
When you say, "bring back the Original Companion Bible by Bullinger... I liked studying the KJV text next to the structures", can you explain how the Structures would be shown in Bible Analyzer? I have used the Companion Bible for over 40 years (Zondervan reprint edition), and the Structur...

Re: hiding footnote numbers in Bible text
Hi Ken, it is helpful to say which operating system you have (Windows, Linux, etc.) and the version of Bible Analyzer to see if the issue can be reproduced in the same environment or maybe was fixed in a later release. I do not have NASB installed since it's a premium module, but I have been thinkin...

ScripturePad Editor failed
I worked over an hour composing a biblical response for Facebook in the ScripturePad editing window, inserting Bible verses and studies from 4 translations. Then I pressed Control-A to mark all, and Control-C to copy the marked content. Everything disappeared, and Bible Analyzer threw an error, and ...

Re: KJV 1611
I think I need to install the fonts and I have not figured out how to do that in the portable version yet. Aren't you running Linux? Copy TrueType fonts (file extension ends in *.ttf ) to ~/.local/share/fonts or to ~/.fonts , where "~" is the $HOME directory. Copying the font to the corre...

Re: Crash report for BA 5.4.0.50 for Linux
One last discovery before I close. I notice that the "mainLayout.dat" file contains a reference to a Bible which I do not own and have never purchased (as far as I know): caption=Bible - New American Standard Bible, w/Strong's 1995 state=134219520 Could this be part of the problem? Maybe t...

Re: Crash report for BA 5.4.0.50 for Linux
I guess I spoke too hastily. The problem has re-appeared. 1. I downloaded one more Bible, the SBL Gk NT, and BA continued to work. 2. I closed BA and restarted it. 3. I downloaded another Bible, the Lexham English translation, and immediately BA crashed with the same error. 4. When I tried renaming ...

Crash report for BA 5.4.0.50 for Linux
Today I experienced a catastrophic and unrecoverable crash of Bible Analyzer for Linux v5.4.0.50. I am running Linux Mint version 20.2, with the MATE desktop. Each time I attempt to run Bible Analyzer, it aborts with this message: /opt/bibleanalyzer $ python3 -u /opt/bibleanalyzer/ba-run.py 3.8.10 (...
