Re: Feature Suggestion: Right-Click open in browser
That is a good idea. It may be more involved than one would think, however. Browsers today are much more security conscience that before. One may be able to save a Bible Analyzer page to a file and then open the file in the browser. I'll look into it. It would offer more viewing options, but as you ...

Re: Can I search for two Strong's words as a phrase?
To search for a word translated from a specific original word, enter the Strong's number after the word, seventeenthH7651 With words that may have a modifying Number such as seventeenthH7651H6240, you must include only the first number, the root number. You can use a wildcard in the word, seventeen*...

Re: Impossible to create a commentary
You have definitely worked on this issue. Just out of curiosity, did you try logging in as admin for a moment and see if you still got the permissions notice? If you want, post the raw text file you made, and I'll try it on my system. As for the link not working, that is a Bible Analyzer issue. The ...

In the meanwhile you can edit the bookmarklist line to where each entry says "Empty,"

Re: Impossible to create a commentary
Epement replied with a good answer concerning the permissions. The message you are seeing is from Windows, not Bible Analyzer. If you get the permissions settled you can try to make a very small module as Epement described. If successful, then add to it. The SQLite format is straightforward. You can...

Re: android
Sorry, Bible Analyzer is not available on Android. We did not continue development. There were too many obstacles and it took a lot of time.
However, mykjv.com will install on an Android device, and it will search and display the KJV quite well.

Re: 5.5.1.02 Download Manager crash
Just checked here and the Download Manager will still load on v5.5 on Ububtu 22.04. (I haven't even installed 24.04 yet.) The code does a simple Python urllib request such as, urllib.request.urlopen('https://www.bibleanalyzer.com/downloads/moduleData.dat' If data is not returned the "No Access&...

Re: Arch Linux support?
For Bible Analyzer 5.5 Python 3.10 is the requirement. 3.11 may work, but I have not tried it yet.
python-wxpython 4.2.0 is for Python 3.10. wx 4.2.1 for 3.11 has been released but it is not yet in the repositories.
Any version of eSpeak should work.
