Re: Getting Better Exposure

Email your address to morton@bibleanalyzer.com and we'll send you a CD for helping promote Bible Analyzer and for making a digital edition of the original 1611 edition of the AV available to the world. Also, check your email for the Bible Analyzer module. The fruit of your labors is returning to you...

Re: Getting Better Exposure

You have a unique way of looking at punctuation. How d you deal with the differences in words (spelling), letters, and punctuation between the 1611 and 1769 editions of the AV? I'll see about adding counts of punctuation to the table such as comma, semi-colon, colon, exclamation, parenthesis, period...

Re: Getting Better Exposure

If what you want is to count the different punctuation marks in the whole Bible or by book, that is no more difficult than counting the words or letters. In fact, the counts of questions in Bible Analyzer is obtained by simply counting the question marks; phrases by counting all punctuation marks; e...

Re: bug report 3.6.3

Go to Bible Statistics in MCP and click the last button (Various Stats...) then enter "Gen - Rev" in the entry box. This will give you a table with several stats, including words (790685 is correct). You can enter any reference or book to limit your results.

Re: Beta 3.7.1a

I'm working on the module tools now. That will be an ongoing process. First there will be a built in tool to convert properly formatted text files into modules. Next will be to convert XML type files (Zefania, ThML, OSIS), and then possibly to convert JET database files in esword format (Windows onl...

Re: Mouse Wheel Scroll Function

I'll look into a better way of placing focus on a window without clicking.

I don't have Vista so I can't check for any peculiar behavior with it. Will probably wait for Windows 7.

Re: Library Viewer

I'm sure it is just an oversight on my part. I have to make some modifications to the code when I transfer it to Ubuntu. I make the initial code in Windows and once it works there I try to adapt it to Linux's differences.

Is the Which Trans... book the only one with an issue?

Re: Getting Better Exposure

Thanks for the kind words and the link. Yes, I'll try to take the exposure. I don't think search engines use meta-tags as much as they used to. They just scan the whole page, but I'll look into it. If you have any suggestions for more types of Bible stats, let me know. Give me a couple of your most ...

Re: Search

That must be a little bug in the Linux version 3.6. It is really a beta. Do you happen to know if it worked in 3.5 (Don't install it just to see)? I may have to revert that code.

I'll fix it this later this week and try to upload you an update.
