It may be that Mac is blocking the download by not letting it be saved.
You can check your download permissions but if you still have trouble, send me an email and I'll send you a link so you can install it another way.

Re: Fatal: Failed to find web view emulation level in the registry
That shouldn't stop Bible Analyzer from running but it is not Bible Analyzer code that's doing it. BA does try to set the emulation level but it must be the underlying OS that is not allowing it and shutting down. I have never used Crossover or Wine so I am of little help. v5.4 should run natively o...

Re: Advice
This looks like it has to do with the Download Manager or Session Manager.
If Bible Analyzer won't start, try deleting the Bible Analyzer config.ini file usually under the .config folder.

Re: Search results problem
This would best be done with a regular expression search.
Select Regular Expression and enter this,
\bg\w+
(The \b means a word boundary; the \w+ gets the rest of the characters.

Re: No Internet access Manjaro
I made a post about my research on Snap, AppImage, Flatpak, etc. here somewhere. There are several problems. One is the user is required to download 100s MBs of "dependencies. A 10MB app can take over 500MB to install. These apps run sandboxed and are basically in a second OS running within the...

Re: No Internet access Manjaro
As you have seen with all this testing, it can be a chore trying to get Bible Analyzer running on different distros. Each one has its own peculiarities. Usually, the issues are with the dependencies. I will add the libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 dependency to the next update of Bible Analyzer since some syste...

Re: BA on T60 with XP 32 bit
v4.7 is too old to support some of the features you mention. I'm not sure which was the last version to run on XP, but here are some links to some later versions you can try. www.bibleanalyzer.com/bibleanalyzer501-setup.exe www.bibleanalyzer.com/bibleanalyzer511-setup.exe www.bibleanalyzer.com/bible...
