Re: Linux 4.7 Beta
I have the beta installed on my 64 bit laptop with Ubuntu 13.04. (I had to give up on Mint, as it was so slow and klunky, and got more so with each update. Ubuntu is fast, sleek, and smooth, and now in 13.04, it is unbelievable how fast and nice it functions). I opened the help menu first in my old ...

Re: GKSUDO huh?!??
Yep, that works. I had read that this could still be installed, but the page I looked at set out the terminal command incorrectly.Brother Mike wrote: To install, type:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install gksu
Thank you!

GKSUDO huh?!??
I've gone to Ubuntu 13.04. It's nice. However, restoring previous software did not let me do an upgrade, but I did a fresh install. So, I have purchased modules with things like .bib or .dic, and then, everything changed to .run; so Mike told me to make it easy by using GKSUDO, to just move the old ...

When Is a Unicorn a Unicorn?!??
Do Modern Version advocates love to point out the errors in the KJV, or do they just love to jump to conclusions? I cannot count how many times people have referenced to me an error in the KJV, which with more extensive thought, actually turned out to be not what it seemed. I learned the hard way ov...

Re: 4.6-5 Download?
I saw the Software Center on Ubuntu was updated the other day, so just now I tried to write a review. Sure enough, it went through. There are a couple negative reviews. Remember I said that might happen due to jealousy. There are also five star reviews. There aren't that many jealous developers, so ...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.6 in Ubuntu Software Center
I downloaded the BA-preAV.run bundle (a favorite of mine). It went fast and smooth, and the installation was fast and smooth. I had to look at the modules page. Wow -- there is a lot of stuff there now. I am going to try the session library. Having the videos on the website sure should help everyone...

Ok, but I think I only have thunar in Xubuntu. So then, I guess the command would be gksudo thunar.Brother Mike wrote:I do not use nautilus, but like thunar, I would imagine that there is something in the nautilus window indicating that it is root authority.

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.6 in Ubuntu Software Center
From this point on, whenever you install a module .run file (double click the icon), it should install into the proper place and no further action is needed. OK, but now under .run the whole bundle is installed, instead of picking what files one wants from the bundle to install into the program. Th...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.6 in Ubuntu Software Center
Here is what everyone is talking about. To copy the folder from the old BA -- Click Go at the top upper left, and a drop down menu appears Click Computer, and then click in order file system, usr, share, bible analyzer and then copy the modules folder somewhere easy to find, like the desktop After i...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.6 in Ubuntu Software Center
On another computer I uninstalled BA, and then installed it through the software center. It was hard and confusing. It uses a Buy button, which goes to a Ubuntu Single Sign On screen. I did not know I already have an account with this center, because I have a Ubuntu One account. So.... After I did t...
