Beta 4.9?
Do we have an ETA on 4.9 for Linux? Even if it's beta? I'd be happy to test/advise even an alpha version!

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8.5 Beta (Windows)
Apparently both image bundles are having trouble downloading as well. All they say is "The download failed for an unspecified reason"

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8.5 Beta (Windows)
So I decided to give the WINE version another go.
Using the same rig above, Ubuntu 13.10 and WINE 1.7.14 and you'll be happy to know it worked perfectly.
I know you don't test against WINE, but the way I see if you can get it to work there, you good!

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8.5 Beta (Windows)
Nevermind, crashed downloading premium modules with WINE. But sync worked great. Now, Test System: Lenovo Z710 running Windows 8.1 Core i7-2600 8GB RAM 256gb Samsung 830 SSD When I first ran the installer "Windows Sunscreen" tried to block it, but just hit More Info and Run Anyway and it's...

Re: When 4.8 Happens!
It's making me very nervous that I have to enter my password every time I start bibleanalyzer to build word lists. Shouldn't the word lists be stored in the users directory? It's one thing if I know I'm opening the software with sudo, but when the software automatically decides for me, this is a rea...

Re: When 4.8 Happens!
Well as far as the permissions issue, as long as your well documented, I wouldn't worry about it. Do what you have to do to make a seamless experience. More of your users would appreciate that. Or if you just make the script (really simple bash script will do the trick) that copies the "default...

Re: Tabs in Multiple Rows
If it's decided to include the option for multiple rows. Please make it an option that can be changed. One of the things I appreciate about BibleAnalyzer over, say, E-Sword is that to me, BibleAnalyzer's interface is very clean. When you literally have dozens and dozens of modules installed E-Sword ...

Re: When 4.8 Happens!
I also don't understand this Ubuntu rule that says the modules couldn't go in the user settings folder when the sword project has no problems with it. Nor does any other open source software. Interesting.
However I might understand a few scenarios out there where users might want to share modules.
