Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
OK, the START attachment is the start up screen. Also, the Dict attachment is the screen I get when I hit the D button. Of the many times I tried to use the arrows, they did work once or twice. Usually, it is just stuck, but sometimes I'll get one movement, and then a dictionary screen appears in on...

Re: Bro. David Cloud
I too think that his materials would be a real asset, and continue to put Bible Analyzer a cut above the rest for the solid material that is offered. There is a lot that is negative about this person on the internet. Here is an example -- http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
I have continued to test, and I have nothing further to report. It is a very nice program!!!! The panels do not display properly at first, as indicated previously -- but this does not bother me. I just have to click on the buttons a little bit. The arrows do not move verse or chapter, as indicated p...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
My laptop that I was Beta testing on died. I found a cat in the yard with its head severed from its body, and not long after that, the laptop would not start. I got the laptop the day after Halloween, as another laptop died then. Hmmm.... I'm posting on a PC, 32 bit, with Ubuntu 12.10. It is a nice ...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
I removed BA and took the BA folder out of Documents and reinstalled. I did a fresh download, and still it is slow. I did not have to do anything with the .config, but maybe, that is because I already had with a prior installation. The program starts with two panels, a blank one on top, and the comm...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
The layout will be saved when BA is closed and should be restored when opened again. That is what I had remembered, but it is not working. On opening, I get two panels, a blank one on top, and another one, like Dictionary or Pad on bottom. If I want to go to Bible alone, I have to click the B twice...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
I didn't express myself well, I think. What I am asking is, once I have a layout I like, how do I make it the start up page?

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
I have been meaning to test the new BA, but first I wanted to set my start up page, and I just cannot find how to do it -- looking at the manual and online. I used to know but.... I think something may be going on that is funny with the window buttons, but it would help if I started where I usually ...

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.8 Linux Beta
I haven't tried BA beta yet, but I have been opening it, and I'd like to mention what has gone on. Although Tim reported the multiple requests for password is fixed -- maybe that means after a reinstallation??? After I had deleted note.usr, on clicking on BA, I was prompted for the OS password, and ...
