Re: Bible Analyzer 5.5 Beta (Linux)

Bro. Tim. I am going to ask a dumb question, so please excuse it. But, just wondering if your are aware that you can run multiple versions of Python on a Linux box? https://www.how2shout.com/linux/install-python-3-9-or-3-8-on-ubuntu-22-04-lts-jammy-jellyfish/ Yes, it takes a bit of fussing around, b...

Re: Spurgeon eBooks

Yes, and no. First run I got this: /home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/text/Sermon Notes Vol. 1-4 - Charles Spurgeon.epub /home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/text/Sermon Notes Vol. 1-4 - Charles Spurgeon.epub Path not available I downloaded the .zip file and looked inside. They were there. So... B...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.5 Beta (Linux)

Hello Bro. Tim Well, I was wrong about the SPad working. Both it and Notes are having issues. Cannot export, save, set links, etc. Getting many javascript messages (nothing turns up in the terminal with errors, just javascript dialogs). The javascript errors center always around reference errors and...

Re: Flatpak???

I am not trying to speak for anyone other than myself in the Linux community, but we know and understand the frustrations of the Linux landscape, and I for one appreciate what you go through to produce the premier Linux Bible Study package. Being the premier, we hope that you continue to fight the g...

Spurgeon eBooks

Hi Bro. Tim

Just installed BA 5.5 on Ubuntu 22.04.
I re-downloaded my purchased modules and I had previously purchased the Spurgeon sermon notes with eBooks. I cannot find the ePub books that should be included. Where would they be hiding?

Thank you

Re: 5.2 Beta (linux) Larkin books have no pictures

This issue is repeating for me in BA 5.5.0.35 running on Ubuntu 22.04. Just FYI Checked the path, etc and all seems good. As someone stated, not a show stopper, but annoying. =====SOLVED FOR 5.5 BA is looking into /home/xxxx/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/modules/text/images/ for the image files. The files...

After reporting and the report dialog closes, the dual Bible viewer does return to a normal state and provides functionality When changing a layout, the Bible panel flickers when moving the...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.5 Beta (Linux)

Greetings, Bro. Tim What a blessing to have BA 5.5 on my Linux Laptop. And what a blessing you are for your persistence in getting BA to all. Stayed up late last evening to get BA installed. Using your outline and the thread (plus google) i was able to get BA up and running without too many bumps. T...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

Just a suggestion, but you may want to reexamine the flatpak idea. Xiphos has a similar issue with unsupported dependencies, etc with the libgtkhtml being no longer supported. I downloaded and it seems to be functioning fine. The editor and Study Pad work as well. Execution is fast and there is even...
