Hi, Tim,
I'm running BA 5.4.1.17 on Mac Mojave (OS 10.14.6). When I try to update to 5.4.1.22 (from Help > Check for Update), BA says it's downloading, but it says (1) it's an .exe file, which won't work on Mac, and (2) it says it's going to my desktop, but even though it said it finished downloading, there isn't any new file on my Mac's desktop.
I assume this is just an anomaly for Mac. Would you be able to help me out?
Thanks,
Eric
Mac: cannot update from 5.4.1.17 to 5.4.1.22

Yes, it is reading the Windows update.
Try downloading the 5.4 Mac dmg from the Download page and see if it may be newer than .17. I fixed this update issue and gave Mac (and Linux) a separate update method but don't remember if it was uploaded or not.
(I am juggling so many platforms and code bases right now i don't remember and my Mac is not running at the moment.)

Re: Mac: cannot update from 5.4.1.17 to 5.4.1.22
Thank you, Tim! That was fast. I downloaded what's called the 5.4.1 .dmg file for Mac, and installed it (alongside the one I already had which on the splash screen is 5.4.1.17). Come to find out the one on the website downloads page is the 5.4.1.19 version! Thank you. (I don't know what changed from 5.4.1.17 to 5.4.1.19, but I figure it should be an improvement of something.)
I did notice this though: on the Mac, in Finder in the Applications folder it shows what version of a program is running. For both of them it shows there that they are 5.4.1.15, which neither of them is according to the splash screen. Just letting you know in case you want to change it for a future release.
Thanks for all you do with the program!
Eric

Yes, I forgot to update the application bundle version. The Bible Analyzer version number is the one to go by. Anyway, .19 has the Mac dedicated update function. No more .exes.
