Hi Tim,

I used to be able to insert (paste) images in my notes, but not having done so for a while i don't remember how i did it. I've tried everything i can think of (cut/paste/drag). Dragging shows a + sign but nothing happens. Sometimes a pop up appears "User Notes Editor" but i don't know where it is or how it works.

You should be able to paste an image, but for now there must be at least one character of text also.

I'll try to remove this limitation in the future.

The images have names, they are png, but i tried other formats.
I did get an error window, which i've attached, and after a few more tries i got a second (different) one.
But these only came up once each after multiple attempts.

I do seem to have another issue with the download manager also, where regardless of how many times i download available purchased things the app crashes after that final step when the OK click is done to restart the app. So i may have some app glitch.

I did reload the app a few weeks ago and used the reset app as well for no apparent change. I don't know if these things are linked.

Sorry, i didn't fully explain that the notification that items waiting to be downloaded never goes away.

This issue will hopefully be resolved with v5.6 for Mac which should be ready in a few weeks.

Yes, barring some sort of Mac specific issue, it should work.

Having downloaded the new Mac update, I'm still unable to paste images into the User Notes, can you see if you're able to when you get a chance?
