Bible Analyzer User's Forum

For years I have received requests to provide more original language software study tools. Since I don't know Hebrew or Greek (and barely know English) I hesitated to undertake the challenge. However, I dived into it recently and came up with this tool that has a couple unique features, I think. unique at least among free or low cost software.

I have only gotten feedback from a few people about this new app, but they were positive, so I have added a bunch more features, too many to list. I will have to make another video.

Anyway, it needs a less generic name. Something concise and catchy along the lines of,

Artos (bread) Analyzer (or Explorer, Examiner, etc.)
Rhema (spoken word) Navigator (or Explorer, Examiner, etc.)
Graphē (scripture) Examiner (or Analyzer, Explorer, etc.)

Or any other fitting Greek/English combination. (Anything but Logos, of course )

Any suggestions?

LinguaScope is a very interesting name. It embodies what this tool does. I like it.

I added some button icons but the rest will be as in the last video.

I do not have the new "Speaker" data in this yet. I'm still working on it.

The Subject and Object data came from parsing the KJV sentences with the Stanford NLP model. I could not find any Greek TR data on that. It is not perfect, but it is generally correct on the subject and object of verbs. See Matt 1 for examples.

The base Greek text is the Textus Receptus behind the KJV. Nearly all Greek texts available are of the more recent "critical text" (NA) but there are many differences, even entire verses missing in the modern texts. I had to piece some of the data together for this TR text, mostly by mapping strongs numbers, bit I think it is complete.

The only modern or "NA" Greek and English text one could use would be that of the Berean Standard Bible. All the rest is locked up in copyright.

Try this out and let me know how it works and what could be improved.

Here are my preliminary beta test results:
1. The results columns appear to be searchable by CTL-Clicking a value in a column field EXCEPT the Morph field. That field you must either go after the individual fields or use the query builder. I would like to do a CTL-Click in that field and have the data parsed and added to my query.

2. The morphology fields must be ordered the way RMAC has them, so the user doesn't need to search for column order or relearn muscle memory. This order must hold in the results table and the query builder: PoS, Tense, Voice, Mood, Person, Number.

3. The query builder does not appear to have a "number" selection choice. (Singular, Plural)

I will add further things as I test, but so far, I really like what you are doing. The manual does need so SURIOUS work!
