Couple bug reports for 4.8 mac:
When I click a verse in the bible pane to select it, it selects the word I clicked in the dictionary pane, but doesn't seem to select the verse for the DBT/TSKe window. Also, the verse stays white and not greyed like before.
Every once in a while when I click a verse and it actually selects, but clicking a different verse doesn't change the selection. I've tried restarting BA, switching chapters, etc and it doesn't seem to help.
Also a minor one, when I launch BA the search box up top has "Enter Word or Ref." in it, which doesn't clear anymore when I click it, have to manually erase it. Also, copy/paste doesn't seem to work in this box.
Thanks
Can't select verses
Re: Can't select verses
The current verse selection has changed with 4.8 as mentioned in the release notes found on the Announcements page. Here is the section on it,
The click actions on the Bible page have been changed where a click on a word will not make that verse the active/current verse. If the Shift key is down when clicked it will become active (as was the previous default action). Left-clicking on the verse reference at the beginning of the line will make that verse the current verse and cause it to highlight.
You need to click the verse reference to make the verse current/active or hold the Shift key while clicking a word. We did this because several users requested a way to select a word in another verse without changing the verse.
For some reason Mac will not allow one to paste in certain entry boxes. We will look for a work-around.

Re: Can't select verses
Thanks, guess I should have read the announcements. My fault.
