BAK filetype

Post by epement »

I notice that Bible Analyzer claims the .bak filetype (or file extension). For me, that's a little unexpected, since *.bak has long been used to indicate backup files.

I can see that the *.bk file extension is used for files in the Modules/Text/ folder (probably short for "book"). But what is the separate use for BAK?

Kind regards,

It doesn't use the .bak extension. I don't know why it would be registered under Bible Analyzer.

I found there is an easy way to remove the association:

Run CMD.EXE or TCC.EXE as an administrator, go to a command prompt, and type:

Code: Select all

  assoc .bak=
and press ENTER
