Habbakkuk vs Habakkuk

Post by kenfhill84083 »

In many places in Bible Analyzer, the book traditionally titled "Habakkuk" is spelled "Habbakkuk" (2 "b"s). The attached image shows the AV Bible and the Topical Study Dictionary (@ Pride/Arrogance > Who Is Proud) showing 2 examples.

When I copy a reference (like "Habbakkuk 2:4-5;" in the Topical Study Dictionary) and paste it into some Bible resources (e.g., theWord, e-sword) they recognize the reference but others do not (e.g., Logos, Bible Hub). In other resources (e.g., word processors, web browsers, this forum's editor) it is flagged as a misspelling.

Maybe this is just a gee-whiz question, but why is this spelling often used in BA?

I could not see a more appropriate place to ask this question. If there is a better place, feel free to move this there.

Thanks for mentioning this. It is a typo in the list in the code that holds full book names.

I just fixed it, and it will be reflected in the next minor release.

I am embarrassed to say that I never noticed it before! I guess that means I need to spend more time using Bible Analyzer! :)
