Release news and notes

Hi Tim!

I have a couple of thoughts I wish to offer if I may, that might assist me as a current package maintainer for Bible Analyzer. It relates to communication for releases, and each releases requirements, if they have changed.

• An RSS feed that announces version updates. This might be tied to a blog/email that achieves the same thing.
• Release notes with each update, that detail dependencies and their minimum versions.

I am subscribed to emails, but as an example, the last email (13 May) pre-dated the current Linux release, which has yet to be announced by email. It was only a chance thought that brought me here to check if an update had been released.
