Unless I use it daily, DBE seems to be the kind of tool I am going to need clear, searchable help documentation.
My sieve-like brain is not going to remember all the nuances very long.
I hope DBE is going to be added to the Help documentation soon.
I don't want to have to review a 15 minute video every time I run into DBE questions.
Thanks.

The Explorer's initial or Home page is the Help or User Manual. It describes the basic functions. We could put that page in the main User Manual, but it is quicker to access in the Explorer itself.
Th easiest way to use the Explorer is to simply type a word or short phrase to get started and turn off/on the switches to refine the results.

Thanks for the response.Tim wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 9:40 amThe Explorer's initial or Home page is the Help or User Manual. It describes the basic functions. We could put that page in the main User Manual, but it is quicker to access in the Explorer itself.

The page https://www.bibleanalyzer.com/store/dyn ... e-explorer -- under the heading "Comprehensive Phrase Searching" -- contains this text, "When a phrase or group of words is entered the Dynamic Explorer can search for the complete phrase and any consecutive word group found in the phrase down to two-word groups."
To me, that describes the basic functionality but does not constitute instructions or a tutorial with examples.
On a web page, this text is searchable. In the DBE initial / home page, however, I cannot see any way to search for topics or text. I've got to guess which heading it might be under, unfold the heading, and visually scan the text. Unfold > scan , unfold > scan. Maybe if I do it enough times I'll find the info I want.
If it was part of the main User Manual, it would be searchable. Being in the User Manual might even prompt BA users to want to purchase the DBE.
The video made it look easier than I am finding it. Of course you probably spent hours playing around with it during development. I may catch on eventually but it is going to take a while. More detailed and easily accessible documentation would be useful.
Everyone has priorities and time constraints. I am wondering if mine are going to let me spend a lot of time playing with this tool if finding info is a scavenger hunt + hit-or-miss experimentation. I guess I'll go watch the video again. I expect DBE will be a valuable tool at the end of my learning curve.

There is a little learning curve to the Dynamic Bible Explorer, but once one sees how it works hopefully it becomes more intutitive. The video explains most of the features.

I also would like more information. What special characters can I use in searches or is "^" the only one. Specifically, what does that symbol do, and where do I put it? Thanks Tim.
